The Society offers competitive rates for foreign currency exchange to individual and corporate clients. We buy and sell foreign currency notes in Euros, Dollars and British Pounds.

For cash above $5000.00 kindly notify SBS two days prior to your travel and select denominations suitable to your individual travel needs. Foreign currency may not be bought more than 60 days prior to the departure of the traveller and any unutilized portion of a travel allowance must be resold back to Swaziland Building Society within 30 days of your return.

A resident over the age of 18 years is entitled to a discretionary allowance of up to E1 million per calendar year. Children under the age of 18 years qualify for a travel allowance of E200.000 per calendar year.
