Swaziland Building Society (SBS) donated E5 000 towards the Nhlangano Town Clean-Up Campaign.

SBS Nhlangano Branch Manager Zwakele Motsa participated at the event, which was held recently within the Central Business District (CBD).

The campaign also featured the Nhlangano Business Community, government officials, school pupils, supermarkets, financial institutions and security forces representatives, to name a few.

Nhlangano Town Council (NTC) Chief Executive Officer Babsy Mavuso said the campaign was prompted by the World Health Day and Day of the African Child commemorations.

He said a number of stakeholders were invited to sponsor and participate at the event.

“We are thankful to SBS for their participation on the day of the campaign and we’re looking forward to their continued support in similar activities in the future. NTC is forever grateful for their kind support,” said Mavuso. 

He further mentioned that the event paved the way for similar prospective activities.

SBS has a good track record of participating in the “Keep Shiselweni Clean” campaigns in the past.
