Swaziland Building Society (SBS) officially opened its Ezulwini Gables Branch doors to the public in style last Thursday.
SBS Managing Director Mbali Sibanyoni cut a cake marking the opening of the branch. She also presented lucky customers with SBS branded promotional materials, which included beautiful hats, key holders and lanyards.
Excitement of both staff and customers was the order of the day as they admired the state-of-the-art branch.
Sibanyoni said the new branch was a milestone for the Society in terms of growth.
She said: “We would like to thank our customers because it is through them that we have reached this far. We promise to give the support and the service that they need.”
She further noted that the Society had grown significantly and had a huge client base.
She mentioned that it was part of the Society’s strategy to increase the branch network and bring services closer to customers. The opening of the new Gables branch brings the total number of SBS branches to 10.
“Ezulwini is growing and we couldn’t afford not to be part of that growth. We also hope to acquire more customers,” said Sibanyoni.
SBS Gables Branch Acting Manager Bongekile Khumalo said the decision to set up the branch was influenced by customers hence the excitement.
“We are excited about the journey ahead, not just for SBS but for our customers as well,” Khumalo said.
She added: “This is part of our vision to come closer to our customers, be visible and be where they are. Opening our 10th branch is a great milestone.”
Khumalo also promised customers that her team would be available to provide efficient service.
“Our greatest wish is to give them the customer experience they are looking for and serve them with to the best of our abilities. We are about them at the end of the day,” she said.
The Society is also posed to open a branch at Buhleni in the northern Hhohho region.
